UPS商品品名申报描述规范是货物在目的地快捷清关、准确确定关税税率的重要依据，错误的申报有可能会导致货物在目的地清关延误、扣货、退件，申报规范为：适用对象+材质+用途+品名，货物申报要真实、准确、清晰、完整，禁止笼统描述、虚假描述，如因申报不符等情况导致海关查扣，或引起退件运费、高额罚款等（罚款可能不少于5000USD/票）。
